Once their was a Snowman

One of the very few snowmen that we got to build this year. Micah was so excited about them that he wanted to keep building them even though our snow fall this year was so scarce. He had to make sure that they had a hat, arms, eyes, a nose and a mouth.

The snow man quickly melted but Micah insisted that his frosty have a hat on to the bitter end. He was pretty sad when he was finally gone and every time it snowed a little he would ask if he would be able to build another frosty.

Micah Loves to Sing

Micah is growing so fast and I can't believe how quickly they learn. He loves to sing songs and mostly makes up his own, but he likes Old Macdonald, The Wheels on the Bus, and Jesus wants me for a Sunbeam. His favorite by far is Frosty the Snowman and he sings it almost everyday even with Christmas and the snow long gone. Here is a video of him singing his version of the song.

since this version he has added: "frosty the nowman, happy olly oul, corn pipe, nose and two eyes coal"

Catch Up (November-December 2009)

It's been several months since I've last posted anything and I feel like I need to get back on it. So much has happened. So first off at the end of October Mike and I decided that we would start trying for another baby. On Christmas Eve we found out that I was pregnant, I was so excited to tell everyone. My sister Rachel seemed a little bummed and jealous of the news and pouted to me that her and her husband Kevin had been trying for over a year and were almost to the point of giving up. Low and behold a few weeks later we found out that Rachel is expecting as well. We are actually only 8 days apart and will be expecting babies at the beginning of September. She is not as excited about being pregnant yet because she is going to school full time, working part time. and has been sick alot and swears that if she had known it was going to be this bad she wouldn't have done it. I think once she starts feeling that baby and seeing it on the ultrasound her views will change.

So for the last few months Jordon has been receiving the missonary disscussions and early December decided that he wanted to be baptized. He was baptized by my dad the day after Christmas. It was such a cool experience.
